Honesty is the best policy.
I want to make a comment about this unit, and then show you some important vocabulary definitions, and some sentences that I made using them.

Tell the truth and be a honest person always will be the best choice , but not in all the cases it is possible to be completely sincere and tell the truth.
People might have so many reasons for lying depending on their circumstances. Some common reasons why people tell lies are:
  • To avoid punishment.
  • To get rewarding on something.
  • To protect other person from punishment.
  • To avoid embarrasment.
  • To get out of an awkward situation.
  • To maintain privacy.
  • Etc.
Vocabulary.
  1. Pervasive : existing or spreadinng everywhere.
  2. Trivial :      unimportant; of little value.
  3. Tatlling on each other: tell something bad that another person had done.
  4. Mislead : make someone believe something that is not true.
  5. Veneer : cover that hides the way someone or something really is.
  6. Relentless : continuing without stopping or losing strength.
  7. Finely honed : sharpened ; perfectly.
  8. Conceal : hide something carefully.
  9. Preoccupation : the condition of thinking about only one thing.
  10. Intrusive : affecting someone ´s private life in an annoying way.
  11. Erosion : the gradual reduction or wearing down of something.
  12. Inflated : exaggerated; overly important.


Examples of sentences.
  1. The influence of  Pablo Cohelo  is pervasive in his new book.
  2. This is a trivial problem.
  3. Deborah is tattling on us to the teacher.
  4. She claims the Dominican goverment misleads the society.
  5. He is hidding his corrupt dealings under a veneer of respectability.
  6. Martin is a relentless fighter.
  7. The teacher has a finely honed sense about his students writtings.
  8. I could not conceal my anger.
  9. My main preoccupation now is to earn more money.
  10. They asked me an intrusive question.
  11. Our relationship has suffered a serious erosion.
  12. Virginia has an inflated ego.
