UNIT 2 

                          Honesty is the Best Policy

 

Hello. I am Bladimir, and now I am going to be explaining the vocavulary involve in this unit which is all about honesty and people trying to mislead others.


Now I am going to define some words in the context that is in the unit:

Pervasive: means that is everywhere. (For instace: The pervasive presense of corruption  is damaging our country.)
 

Trivial: not impotant.(e.g   Our problems are not trivial as some people say  )
 

Tattling on each other: tell something bad that other has done. ( I was thinkin on  tattling  on her for what she had done )


Mislead: make believe something that is not true. (He is always misleading his wife telling her that he was at his office )
 

Veneer: mask or cover that hides something. ( Trying to put a veneer on the problems do not going to solve anything ) 


Relentles:  unstoppable or without losing strength. ( The relentles rising of prices make our earnings 
 not profitables )
 

Finely Honed: perfect sharpened. ( A finely honed investigation will bring good outcomes )
 

Preoccupation: thinking only about one thing. ( My preoccupation is not the price is how I will get the money )

Conceal: hide somenthing carefully. ( Politicians always conceal  their real purpose )
Intrusive: affecting someone s private life. ( I am most of the time carefull about intrusive people )
Erosion: the reduction or wearing down of something. ( My relation right now is sufering an erosion because of  misleading )
 

Inflated: exaggerated.  (They are  presenting  inflated details of the inveastigation  ). 


Well this is the vocabulary for the unit I hope you use it.
