What does Spiritual Renewal mean? 
It is the step that you give, I mean it is a change in your life, both physically and spiritually.
The power of personal transformation.
Spiritual Renewal implies: spirit, soul, body and inside of these tree the heart.

Regeneration of the Mind
In physical birth we have Parents, Life, we are Heir, we have a Mind, Human Nature, but in our Spiritual birth, we got God as our Father, Eternal Life, All Things in Glory, Renewed Mind (Spirit) and we are partaker of Divine Nature.
As a human being, we are composed of three parts: spirit, soul and body.
Spirit & Mind are related to one another, they are of the same sphere. (The brain is not the mind, but the brain is a filling cabinet. The brain is part of the body the mind uses.)
Soul: The soul refers to emotion and feeling. (I King 17:17)
Body: Note: Eph 1:14/Eph. 4:30/Rom 8:23 Redemption of Body.
Mind: part of you that is the intellect through which we can know things, part of you that come to understand things that is apart from feeling, but part of the intellect.
Heart of Man: That part which is a common part of the Sprit, Body and Soul.
