Internet and other addictions

The person who is addicted to internet surf probably 8-10 hoursa day,most days.That person is addict in my opinion. Because is not normal that you check for example, Gmail, facebook and others pages like 8 or 10 hours at day. However I think internet is very importa for us when you are talking about know or get something that you don't know or can't get in that moment, like some books  that you can't  buy news and things like that. On the other hand addictions to me is the use of substance such as drags , alcohol and nicotine. This days, is being applied to internet use gambling, sex, shopping cell phone  use and even travel .
