This unit bring us an important grammar. Quantifiers before count and non-count nouns.
The book define count nouns as those that can be counted and made plural; for example: monasteries and monks.
Some quantifiers used before count nouns are:
A lot of, many/a great many, quite a few, a bunch of, a large number of, certain, not many, very few/a few/few, fewer.
Whereas non-count nouns defined as a mass and cannot be made plural; for example: gratitude, humility, discipline.
The quantifiers placed before non-count nouns are:
A lot of, a great deal of, quite a bit of, a large amount of, not much, very little/only a little/little, less.
