Present
Structure: simple past (were for all pronouns)

-I wish I were a bird
-I wish I weren't poor
-I wish I could help you
-I wish I didn't have too much work

Past
Structure:past perfect (had+past participle)

-I wish I had had breakfast
-I wish I had done my homework
-I wish you would had called

Future
Structure: would+simple present (no third person-s) will/be going to+past perfect

-I wish she would call me
-You are going to wish that you had studied harder
