Definition

Employers and employees are often subject to privacy laws. The Privacy Act, for example, applies to employee information in federal government institutions. ... But whether or not privacy is protected by law or contract, respecting privacy in the workplace makes good business sense.

Employees must requiere some privecy in their workplace  they are given some protetion and other form of electronic monitoring under some circumstances, also public sector employees may have som minimal rights under any country constitution.I understand that some politics are for protection of the employees but they also need the dignity and pride of not being judge for eveythinh they do.
